The New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC) today issued the following statement around the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) State Energy Efficiency Scorecard, which ranked Massachusetts as the number one state in energy efficiency for the fourth year running with four New England states in the Top Ten. 

In this letter in opposition to FERC Docket No. EL14-55, NECEC strongly urges the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to reject the FirstEnergy complaint, and thus allow demand response and energy efficiency to continue providing value to consumers, businesses, and wide array of both public and private organizations.

NECEC, which includes the New England Clean Energy Council and NECEC Institute, today announced 13 finalists for its Annual “Green Tie Gala” awards, honoring exceptional companies and individuals in the region’s clean energy industry.
