As part of the New England Clean Energy Council’s (NECEC) Third Annual Maine Clean Energy Day, executives representing NECEC member companies visited the Maine State House today to showcase the state’s vibrant clean energy industry and the benefits it provides Maine.    

NECEC issued the following statement regarding the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s (DEEP) release of its final 2014 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).

The Mass Solar Coalition, which is coordinated by New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC), Solar Energy Business Association of New England (SEBANE), Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Vote Solar, today announced its support for proposed legislation to extend the Net Metering and Solar Task Force report deadline and raise the state’s net metering cap to maintain solar development while the Task Force develops a long-term comprehensive solution to ensure the growth of solar in Massachusetts. 

NECEC (New England Clean Energy Council) congratulates today’s energy appointments announced by Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Matt Beaton: Ronald Gerwatowski as Assistant Secretary of Energy, Angela O’Connor, as Chair of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Robert Hayden as DPU Commissioner and Daniel Burgess as Commissioner of the Department of Energy Resources (DOER).

NECEC Institute’s Cleantech Navigate Northeast program, today launched the Navigate Explorer, a new digital platform to help cleantech entrepreneurs throughout the northeast connect to the resources they need to grow. The Navigate Explorer is a one-stop-shop where entrepreneurs can access resources, request support and connect to Cleantech Navigate Northeast’s community and resources, including experts, mentors, support organizations and funding opportunities throughout the Northeast.
