NECEC President Peter Rothstein to Speak on Innovation at U.S./Canada Energy Trade & Technology Conference

Peter Rothstein, President of NECEC, the premier voice of businesses building a world-class clean energy hub in the Northeast, will speak at the 24th Annual U.S./Canada Energy Trade & Technology Conference on November 16. The theme of the conference is "How Best to Implement A Balanced Regional Energy Policy -- Dealing with Climate, Energy Infrastructure, Supply and Economic Growth." Rothstein joins the Roundtable on Clean Energy Resources and Innovation.

Moderated by Richard Kanoff of Burns & Levinson, the Roundtable also includes panelists Joshua Paradise of Current by GE, Tom Thompson of Enviro Ambient Corporation, and Jon Norman of Brookfield Renewables. Discussion will highlight recent developments in clean technology innovation, such as offshore wind, energy storage, and efficiency.

As President, Rothstein guides NECEC in creating a world-class clean energy hub in the Northeast. Prior to joining the organization, he was part of the Flagship Ventures team, a leading seed and early stage venture capital firm. Rothstein also founded Allegro Strategy and served as a consultant, advisor, and interim executive to a number of early-stage cleantech startups. His expertise and years of venture, entrepreneurial, executive, and deal experience across the cleantech venture market will prove invaluable to the Roundtable on Clean Energy Resources and Innovation.

Convened by the New England-Canada Business Council (NECBC), the U.S./Canada Energy & Technology Conference held annually in Boston is the only one of its kind. More than 250 American and Canadian senior executives, policy makers, regulators, and energy experts are expected to attend.
