NECEC Statement on Massachusetts' Landmark Climate Bill

BOSTON - NECEC today released the following statement in response to news that the Massachusetts Legislature is poised to pass the state's landmark climate bill:   

"With the Next Generation Climate Roadmap bill near passage for a third time, NECEC urges the Legislature and Governor Baker to finish the job,” said NECEC President Peter Rothstein. "Setting long-term emissions reduction targets is essential to achieving our climate goals and accelerating the clean energy transition. Now is the time to get this done so we can turn our attention to the important on-the-ground efforts needed to green our energy systems."
