State of the Environment – Maine DEP Commissioner & Bureau Chiefs

NECEC's Maine Affiliate E2Tech is inviting Maine’s Air, Land, Water, and Waste leaders from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection to give us the “State of the Environment” in Maine. What are the trends in environmental quality?

What regulatory actions are making a difference and what’s new on the horizon? What are emerging contaminants and issues of concern?

We are also interested in how the DEP assists businesses through the state regulatory maze and how E2Tech can help promote jobs and businesses in the environmental services sector.

Speakers

  • Patricia Aho, Commissioner, Department of Environmental Protection (Introductory Remarks)
  • Mark Cone, Director, Bureau of Air Quality
  • Michael Kuhns, Director, Bureau of Land & Water Quality
  • Melanie Loyzim, Director, Bureau of Remediation & Waste Management
