NEWIN Water Pitch Night

Please join the local water and startup community for an evening of water technology pitches and networking at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center on December 2nd. 

Water Pitch Night,  hosted by the New England Water Innovation Network (NEWIN), is an opportunity to see what local water startups are working on and to network  with water professionals, entrepreneurs, academics and experts. 

Several water startups will each have 5 minutes to pitch their technology and then there will be a live Q&A with the audience. After all the startups have pitched, the audience votes for a winner. 

Startups Pitching:
1. Source Water: Source Water provides an online marketplace for energy operators, service companies, and landowners to buy, sell, recycle, and manage water & water services.

2. Strategic Water Resources: SWR utilizes advanced water purification technology to provide water processing devices and systems that are cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.

3. Resolute Marine Energy: RME develops technology to generate clean energy from ocean waves, with the goal of providing a sustainable water desalination system and cost-effective electricity for near-shore communities.

4. WaterFX: WaterFX is an independent water producer, building sustainable solar desalination systems to provide affordable sources of distributed freshwater.
 

Agenda

5:30 - 6:00pm: networking, light refreshments served

6:00 - 7:00pm: startups pitch their water technology and the audience votes for a winner

7:00 - 7:30pm networking and closing remarks
