In June, NECEC announced the Clean Energy Back to Work Challenge initiative to high-light innovative projects and approaches from clean energy organizations successfully adapting their business practices amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
NECEC invited businesses and organizations to nominate their best practices, pilots, innovations and model projects to be considered for awards in specific challenge award categories. With the conclusion of award nominations on October 1st, we’re thrilled to announce that 22 exciting projects have been nominated.
The Challenge Finals will be a great opportunity to learn from the finalist and winning Challenge projects, celebrate Clean Energy Back to Work progress, hear from a great keynote (to be announced shortly), enjoy entertainment, and network in virtual breakout rooms with your colleagues and friends as we safely celebrate in virtual “tables for 10.”
Join us virtually on November 12th, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Challenge Finals to celebrate the announcement of winners in all five award categories:
- Customer Acquisition
- Innovating Remote Work & Technology Solutions
- On-Premises Project Construction & Installation
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Public Health Mitigation
- Community Engagement During the Pandemic Crisis
Thank you for your participation in this important collaborative effort to support one another in getting back to work during COVID-19. We are looking forward to an exciting virtual event on November 12th, 2020 and to this dynamic exchange of ideas and solutions!
Our Annual Green Tie Gala may not be happening this year, but the work does not stop. The clean energy industry needs the support of all of us to rebound from this crisis, put employees back to work, and accelerate for the pivotal 2020’s decade of climate action. We thank you for joining us in our efforts to bring focus and momentum to clean energy getting working again while demonstrating thoughtful care for the safety of employees, customers, and the broader community.
