NECEC meets with FERC official at Greentown Labs

On April 10, Matthew Rolnick from FERC's Office of Public Participation visited NECEC and toured Greentown Labs.

A new hire in this important new office, Rolnick met with Vice President for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice & Workforce Development Barry Reaves, Sr. Policy Manager Natalie Hildt Treat and Policy Intern Ervens Jean-Pierre to explain his role in helping citizens and other stakeholders navigate the complex and historically inaccessible world of federal energy regulation.

The NECEC team shared ideas for increasing authentic public engagement and ensuring community benefits in energy facility siting-- particularly in environmental justice communities.
