Biggest summer class ever for MA Clean Energy Internship Program

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program is in the middle of another outstanding summer season.  The award-winning program from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center provides stipends of up to $4,800 for college students and recent graduates who are competitively selected by clean energy companies and organizations in Massachusetts from a database of hundreds of graduate, undergraduate and community college students.

This summer, 247 paid interns are working on challenging assignments at 152 different clean energy employers.

  • UMass Amherst – 32
  • Tufts University - 20
  • Boston University – 19
  • Worcester Polytechnic Institute – 14

  • Engineering (includes all specialties) - 80
  • Business (includes all specialties) - 60
  • Natural and Physical Sciences - 30
  •  Computer Science - 11

Matriculation levels of interns

  • Undergraduate - 171
  • Graduate - 66
  • Community college - 10
