Policy is a critical component of the drive to transform our nation’s energy infrastructure. Massachusetts and other New England states have demonstrated their leadership in advancing innovative clean energy policy; and the Council has been an aggressive supporter and contributor to this effort.

Our Policy Committee, listing representatives from many of the area’s leading policy-focused NGOs as its members, has worked diligently to provide input to legislation, to craft proposals for new policy initiatives, and to aid in the drafting of specific bills.

Thanks to the vision of State leaders, the past 18 months has seen a torrent of forward-thinking policy initiatives signed into law by Massachusetts and other New England States.
