Hull Wind Turbine Summer Cruise

Back by popular demand, NECEC members Mass Energy Consumers Alliance and People's Power & Light are organizing a Hull Summer Cruise to sail on June 19th from Rowes Wharf in Boston! Mass Energy will charter the M/V Freedom and take a one hour cruise down to Pemberton Point, where attendees will hop off the boat and hike over to get up close and personal with Hull 1, Massachusetts' first community-scale wind turbine, built in 2002! Then it's a lovely sail back to Boston.

Snacks are included, and there will be a concession stand. Cash bar will be open on the cruise back to Boston. This is a great opportunity to meet other Mass Energy members, partners, and movers and shakers in the energy world, and spend a wonderful summer afternoon on the water.

Boarding is at 1pm; departure around 1:30 and the group will arrive back at Rowes Wharf by 5pm or earlier. Kids are welcome.
