The Council focuses its resources on five key areas, each of which has a significant impact on fulfilling the organization’s stated goal of accelerating the region’s clean energy economy. The following outlines these focus areas and the primary objective for each:

Innovation
Develop and execute programs which foster clean energy innovation, and stimulate start-up activity.

Growth
Seek to launch programs/activities which enable established clean energy companies to grow more rapidly, and to expand within the region.

Analysis & Education
Promote clean energy education to fill knowledge gaps and develop a world-class workforce.

Market Adoption
Advance programs which encourage adoption of new energy technologies and efficiency solutions by commercial and residential end-users.

Policy
Develop and advance a slate of policy recommendations designed to create a strong environment within the State and region for the development of a robust clean energy economy.
